Since 1987, the non-profit Greyhound Adoption Center (Houndsavers) has rescued, rehabilitated and found loving homes for thousands of greyhounds. With love, nutrition, and medical care, we see them transform from hopeless to hopeful. Each adoption day is a new beginning and reinforces our hope in happily ever after.
GAC has taken in greyhounds from all over the world including Mexico and as far away as China.
Many of our hounds come to us with varying injuries and illnesses. Our first goal is to ensure the health and well-being of our dogs and receive proper care.
Our mission is to find the best homes possible for every hound we rescue by following a rigorous adoption process to ensure a suitable fit.
